Global Day of Prayer... June 4th

On June 4, 2006, Pentecost Sunday, nearly 500 million Christians in nearly 200 countries will gather to pray to God in the name of His Son Jesus Christ for personal repentance and for healing. Thousands of gatherings are expected in stadiums, churches, auditoriums and homes located in cities around the world.

St. Louis Christians will meet in the new Busch Stadium from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, June 4th. Everyone is invited who holds to the essential beliefs of Christianity as summarized in The Apostle's Creed. In other words, participation is encouraged by Christian churches of all types i.e. Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Baptist, Protestant (Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, etc), Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Nondenominational.

Our theme is from II Chronicles 7:14: I will hear from heaven.. ..and heal their land.

Our purpose is to please God by joining all of His Metro St. Louis family together for one day to pray for repentance and to work together for the blessing, healing and transformation of our city. Please come and pray.
